Quinta Lusitana is situated on a slight elevation in the land district of Olhão, in a quiet location between the municipalities of Quelfes, Moncarapacho and Fuseta. The rural area is characterized by almond trees, olive trees and carob trees, on narrow paths you can take leisurely walks in the middle of nature.

The house was built in 2016 on the site of the old Quinta. The property with a threshing floor, a covered parking space and stylishly laid out beds is surrounded by a fence. The large roof terrace offers a 360° panoramic view of the small private kingdom, but also over the distant landscape: in the north to the highest elevation in the eastern Algarve, the Cerro de São Miguel, in the south to the Ria Formosa nature reserve and the Atlantic Ocean behind it. To the east, greet the sunrise with a cup of coffee and to the west, watch the sunset with a glass of Vinho Verde.

When planning the Quinta Lusitana, the owners took care to use natural materials and to build an architecture in the style typical of the country, which blends harmoniously into the existing surroundings. An impressive biotope was created directly in front of the large terrace, in which, in addition to various aquatic plants, frogs also feel comfortable and occasionally give a small concert. This aquatic paradise has a square pool in the middle, so you can swim in the biotope without coming into contact with the plant and animal inhabitants that ensure the pool's natural balance. The view goes through the water plants to the coastline.

Unfortunately, as the swimming pool has a continuous depth of 2 meters and is very close to the house, children under the age of 8 cannot be accommodated. Older children should already be confident swimmers. We ask for your understanding of this safety regulation.

Style and sophistication continue in the house. The large living area is flooded by daylight by four double glass doors from the south and north. The wooden roof and clay plaster keep the temperature and humidity in balance. This creates a very pleasant room climate. Next to the living room is an open, very well-equipped kitchen with a dining area. Here, too, a lot of light falls through the windows in all cardinal directions.

In the eastern part of the house are the two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite. Both bedrooms have patio doors with access to the natural pool. The entire house can be climatized. Lines laid in the floor are fed by a modern heat pump and can heat but also cool slightly. However, the cooling effect is much lower than with a conventional air conditioning system.

Quinta Lusitana offers a relaxing holiday for up to 4 people. You live in natural surroundings and with short distances to many attractive destinations in the Eastern Algarve. The house differs from many other accommodations that are comparable at first glance due to its eco-pool, the elevated position and the high-quality furnishings.
