1) Parties to the Contract
"visit eastalgarve" acts purely as the intermediary for the letting of accommodation, rented cars, and other services akin to holidaying in the East Algarve. The contract is between the holiday maker and the owner. "visit eastalgarve" can not be held responsible for any claims for damages related to the rented accommodation and/or other services, as well as non-fulfilment of contract by the parties to the contract.


2) Amendments

"visit eastalgarve" checks all properties / services from third parties before publishing these on the internet and strives continually to ensure the correctness of the contents. "visit eastalgarve" can not be held responsible for any amendments to the properties or services offered by third parties which they have not been informed about. "visit eastalgarve" should be informed immediately of any discrepancies in the published details in order to be able to take corrective action within an appropriate timescale.



3) Complaints

The condition of the holiday accommodation is the sole responsibility of the owner and the owner should be informed immediately if the holiday maker has cause for complaint.  In the case of contracts with third party partners such as car rental, airlines etc, the owner of the business are responsible for the services offered. “visit eastalgarve” can only act as an intermediary between contract partners.



4) Number of Guests / Pets

The number of guests in the holiday accommodation should not exceed the number detailed in the holiday property description. The owner of the property or his/her representative has the authority to evict guests should the number of guests exceed the number agreed. Pets are only allowed in certain properties and must always be registered at the time of booking.  Note for guests with allergies: Although some properties are pet-free, it can not be guarantied that there are no pets/animals within the immediate vicinity of the property.



5) Method of Booking

The individual owners have differing booking conditions (deposit, changeover day, security deposit, etc.) and it is not possible to give general booking conditions as a whole. “visit eastalgarve” will inform interested parties by email at the time of enquiry/booking about the individual booking conditions pertinent to each property. Please contact “visit eastalgarve” if you are not sure about payment/booking conditions.


General Agreement:

A deposit of 30-50% of the total rent is due at the time of booking.

The balance is due 30 – 45 days before begin of the rental period. In some cases the balance is due in cash on arrival.

A security deposit is due with some properties. Notwithstanding this, the holiday maker must inform the owner/owner’s representative immediately should he/she damage the property or furnishings or fittings.


6) Cancellation

- up to 84 days before departure 12.5% of the total rental price
- 83 to 45 days before departure 25% of the total rental price
- 44 to 28 days before departure 50% of the total rental price
- 27 to 14 days before departure 70% of the total rental price
- 13 to 0 days before departure 90% of the total rental price
- For early departure 100% of the total rental price


Neither „visit eastalgarve“, nor the owner can be held liable for the acts of third parties, e.g. airlines, ferry companies, customs officials, air traffic controllers, etc., which result in the client or members of his/her travel group not being able to use the holiday accommodation for a part of or for the complete duration of the booked period or for any financial loss resulting there from.
